EDITING CHECKLIST

*first word in a sentence 

*the pronoun I (including I’m and I’ve) *days of the week

*names of holidays

*Follow the basic rules for commas: Introductory Words & Phrases: 

*names of specific people & places *names of cities, counties, states, & countries *names of bodies of water 

*specific clubs and organizations 

*names of books, poems, movies, & games

The moon landing occurred in July 1969. (NO comma) 

Cities/States/Counties/Countries:

Compound Sentences:

Complex Sentences:
